Pastor Adrian Starks, a native of Brooklyn, New York, is a highly sought after teacher, preacher and psalmist throughout the country. He is anointed by God as a visionary to the people of God to bring relevance to God's Word, for the church and the unchurched. Pastor Starks is commissioned by the Lord to sensitize mankind unto the purposes of God for their lives. He does so without looking at gender, race, ethnicity or socioeconomic positioning - in order to effect positive change and to restore the breaches of life in humanity.

However, God has given him a special place in ministry unto males. He ministers unto men with the objective of edifying males in particular to know their significance and power when operating in the irrifutable will of God for men. He is saddened at the ratio of men to women in the body of Christ at-large and understands that it is the plight of Satan to keep the male unaware and unconcerned of the impact God desires for him to make. This impact is to be felt not only in the church but in his home and community as a visible example of Christian discipleship. It is out of this passion for men that God has birthed the Tender Warriors Men's ministry at Anderson Grove. Through this ministry Pastor Starks ministers to men of all walks, vocations, and ages - even unto other pastors, ministers, leaders and lay-leaders.

Pastor Starks is married to the former Shandi Barksdale, and to this union they have four beautiful daughters, Kristen Simone, Sydney Nicole , Carmen Danielle and Courtney Noelle.

He has received his Bachelors of Arts degree from North Carolina A&T State University and is in pursuit of his Masters in Divinity. He is an author, song-writer, and vocalist that gives all praise and thanks to God the Father, Jesus Christ, and the blessed Holy Spirit for the gifts given him.
